    In diesem Jahr findet die Tanz-Gala am 23. Oktober 2021 statt und wird rund um die Preisträgerin Heide-Marie Härtel und die Geehrten Ursula Borrmann, Claire Cunningham und Adil Laraki gestaltet.
    Der Kartenverkauf beginnt am 26. August 2021 und läuft über das Ticket-Center in Essen.

    Hybrid Symposium "POSITIONS:DANCE#4 Creating Access – DIVERSITY"

    Racism in Dance – a critical examination of power in dance

    October 21st to 23rd

     

     

    The hybrid symposium "POSITIONS:DANCE#4 Creating Access  DIVERSITY" is already conceived and curated from a diverse and non-traditional perspective with a curatorial team consisting of Nora Amin (main curator), David Kono and Mey Seifan. The aim is to raise awareness, expose racism, and engage with critical discourse as well as socio-politically shaped views of body and dance.

     

    Reservations for online participation via Zoom will be possible from the beginning of September at this link.

    The symposium will take place as part of the German Dance Award 2021.

    Dance Gala around the award winner Heide-Marie Härtel and the honorees Ursula Borrmann, Claire Cunningham and Adil Laraki on October 23, 2021 at the Aalto-Theater Essen.

     

    Tickets will go on sale on August 26, 2021, through the Ticket-Center in Essen. You can also experience the gala in the livestream!
